General Information about Classes at the Institute

Class Format, Duration, and Frequency

The Institute offers both live and pre-recorded classes. 

LIVE CLASSES:
  • Offer Real-time Discussion
  • Camaraderie among Participants
  • Inspiration from the Group and Instructor ​

PRE-RECORDED CLASSES: (Coming soon!)
  • Allow you to go at your own pace
  • Repeat class sections for review

PLAYBACKS
All live classes are recorded and playbacks are available for a limited time.  

DURATION OF CLASSES
Most classes last about 2 hours.  

FREQUENCY OF CLASSES
Some classes are offered quarterly, others only once a year.  Check the chart below and the calendar for more information about each tier of classes.

From introductory classes to courses lasting a few months, all classes allow an opportunity for you to be in community.

When considering classes to take, you have choices:

SINGLE CLASSES
These are stand-alone classes covering one subject. 

CLASS SERIES
Class series are composed of single classes that cover a topic.  For example, the Comprehensive Guide to Shamanic Journeys is a 4-part series of single classes.  You may choose to take the single classes or the series for a discounted/bundled cost.  

COURSES
Like the classes you might take in a college, courses cover one subject over multiple class periods.  Courses cannot be divided into single classes and are only offered as a unit.  ​
