This Apprenticeship is a Comprehensive Training Program, essentially the Equivalent of

Basic Information on the Apprenticeship

​ The Apprenticeship training includes:
  • 2 Year Intensive Training 
  • 4 In-Person Retreats (4 full days each)
  • Live Online Classes Between Retreats
  • Individual Online Shamanic Healing Sessions
  • Individual Online Supervisory/Case Study Sessions
  • Recurrent Live Shamanic Healing Demonstrations and Discussion
  • Vision Quest 
  • Certification as a Shamanic Healer

Blended Format - Online Classes with In-Person Retreats

The Apprenticeship combines regular online classes with in-person retreats.  Your cohort will come together in a retreat setting four times during the Apprenticeship and once during the Vision Quest.  Retreats include classes, experiential exercises,  skill practice, and ceremony.  There are 4 retreats in all, lasting 4 full days each.  There are manuals for each retreat.

​Classes in-between retreats are conducted through online video conferencing and include academic as well as practicum/skill-building classes.

Belonging to a Community of Healers

Within apprenticeship groups, there is sense of belonging and camaraderie that develops quickly.  If you've participated in the intro classes, you may have noticed  how wonderful it feels to be surrounded by supportive, like-minded people.  This feeling is amplified in the apprenticeship.  Deep and long-lasting friendships often blossom.  To engender this community, we have a forum for conversations, supportive materials, and inspiring quotes, or any other topic the group wants to pursue.

Teachers for the Apprenticeship - "You do not walk this path alone."  

For each apprenticeship group, you'll have:

Apprenticeship Leader and Shamanic Healer - Conducts all of the retreats, teaches all classes between retreats, and works with you in shamanic healing sessions.  You do not walk the apprenticeship path alone.  The apprenticeship leader will be there with you every step of the way, guiding and supporting you.  

Community Drum Keeper - works with you at retreats to help you build and come into relationship with shamanic tools, such as the drum, rattle, and medicine bag.  She also conducts drum circles at the retreats.

Supporting Your Coursework through the Institute's Learning Portal

The knowledge you will gain in the apprenticeship is extensive.  There is a fully developed curriculum for both more academic subjects, such as the Nature of Individual Consciousness, as well as practicum subjects, like Creation of an Alter.  To help keep you organized, courses are posted on the learning portal and offer class outlines and other supporting materials.

We know that it can be difficult to start a private shamanic healing practice, so we assist you in a few ways:
  • Assist you with your First Client Referrals, sending out emails on your behalf
  • List you on the Website to bolster referrals
  • Offer Space on the Website for other Offerings that are Unique to YOU!
  • Offer a Business Class on how you can begin the practice

Payment Plan

Yes, you read rightly.  We offer a payment plan for ALL apprentices for program tuition.   Retreats and the Vision Quest are not covered in the payment plan and must be paid in full prior to the event.    For information on program costs and payments, please complete the form below.
