Beginning Your Apprenticeship
"Can I Begin My Apprenticeship BEFORE the 1st Retreat?" The Answer is...YES!
Consider that the Apprenticeship has these Basic Parts:
- In-Person Retreat
- Live Online Courses
- Individual Shamanic Healing Sessions
- Intermediate Classes (Pre-recorded) (These will soon be available!)
- Community Membership (Tier 4 membership is INCLUDED with your Apprenticeship)
The first 2 parts (In-Person Retreat and Online Courses) begin in the fall of each year. You'll find information on your first retreat below. (Details about the apprenticeship can be found for 1-Year here.)
However, once you've completed the application process, are accepted as an Apprentice, and paid the first month's fee, you can begin your apprenticeship by:

- Joining the Community (participating in Classes and Events as you wish)
- Taking the Intermediate Classes (once they're available--soon!)
- Beginning Shamanic Healing Sessions (20 are required for 1-Year Apprenticeship)
Thus, you DO NOT NEED TO WAIT UNTIL THE FIRST RETREAT TO BEGIN!
Let's Talk about Fall Retreat 2026...
The Fall Retreat is the declarative beginning, for you will realize the Call to become the Healer you are and make ceremonial declarations about your answer to that Call. You'll create and come into relationship with your Shamanic Drum. Ongoing coursework will follow the retreat, thus, you'll complete:

ROOM AND BOARD
Location: We will be staying at Two Rivers Farm nestled between the Mckenzie River and the Mohawk River just outside of Eugene, Oregon, USA. The property is located in the serene Mohawk valley on 120 acres. There are walking trails and access to the river.

GETTING THERE
Two Rivers Farm is located about 30 minutes from the Eugene, OR airport (EUG). We suggest that apprentices share car rental costs and ride together.
